Countryside needs YOU! We are heading to Enniskillen Castle: Fermanagh County Museum to record the programme for a special BBC NI Comes to Town edition on Thursday, June 20 between 2-4pm. We'd love you to pop in and say hello and see how we put the show together. We will have some fantastic special guests including renowned celebrity chef, Neven Maguire, who will be cooking up a storm with some local ingredients! Are you a local food producer? - bring your product on the day and we will sample it and and maybe get Neven to suggest a few recipes! If you have a rural story or event to share - we want to hear about it! Young farmer, old farmer, inbetween farmer - get those wellies walking to Enniskillen Castle! We'd love to see all you wonderful Fermanagh Folk - so come along, grab a seat and enjoy the craic, food, chat, music and MORE!

I had an absolute ball today recording BBC Radio Ulster BBC Radio Foyle #countryside for the BBC Comes To Town Libraries NI Ballymena. You’ll be able to hear more on BBC Sounds on Friday from 5pm and on Sunday between 2-3pm. I had special guests including Zita McNaugher, Victor Chestnutt, Jenny Bristow and Michael Meharg. And music from the brilliant Farmers’ Choir Northern Ireland Here’s a sneak peek!

So… I’ve been off air for a while. Unfortunately I’ve had Covid after dodging it for two years! But I’m back on air, live, next week and I haven’t been resting on my laurels. I had a wee holiday try to get back to fitness and this is what I’ve been doing. Any farmers that have been swimming up the Maine let me know! 😂 get your stories in! I’ve missed you!
