FREE ART COMPETITION, unleash your artistic self! Do an A4 piece of art about Nelson, Lancashire. Just use your imagination! Take a photo of your work and post it on the Nelson Art Trail page, as a comment on the FREE ART COMPETITION post. Leave your age, the title of the art work and a brief description in the comments. The competition runs from 22 August-17 October with submissions no later than midnight on the 17 October. Age categories are 1-7, 8-12,13-25 and 25 plus, so remember to add your age to your comment.
Prizes are posted in photos on the Nelson Art Trail page, see the PRIZES POST on the page.

OPEN CALL OUT FOR ARTISTS to submit a work of art to Nelson Art Trail.
Artists from Burnley, Pendle and Ribble Valley are asked to submit two art works of a variety of styles that best represent your work by commenting on this post. A selection of 20 will be made to use on the trail.
Participants of the trail which will be monitored by a mobile app will select their favourite three art works, on the trail, at the end of the year the top three favourite Artists, as chosen by the participants of the trail, will receive prizes of 1st £1000, 2nd £500 and 3rd £250.
