If you’re already familiar with my name, it’s probably because you’ve visited me for a makeover or makeup lesson in the past (and if you did: thank you! I’m eternally grateful that you supported me and my business). After over ten years working as a professional makeup artist, it’s now time for me to put my client brushes down and embrace something new…ish. As an internationally recognised makeup

artist, my blog initially started as a fun way for me to tell my makeup clients and friends all about the products that I was loving, but quickly escalated to a worldwide-read blog with a loyal following. Shortly after starting my blog, I began my YouTube channel and started to realise how much I loved making video content, too (once I got over the stage fright, of course. Although I still find it slightly terrifying vlogging in public!)

With a successful career in TV and SFX makeup artistry behind me, and several prestigious awards to my name, I’m a trusted voice within the beauty industry which has led to many wonderful opportunities. As such, I’ve worked with many amazing brands to promote some really fabulous products and services across my social media channels. So, after being forced to take quite a large amount of time out of my business due to health reasons, I’ve made the extremely difficult decision to close the Rachael Divers Makeup Artistry doors. But the great news is that I’ll still be sharing my favourite products, tutorials and tips here on page, along with my blog, my YouTube channel and of course, my Instagram account too. I’d love you to join me on this new journey, and perhaps even tell me the kind of posts you’d love to see from me in the future. Whether you’re still here for makeup looks, or whether you’d like to request a product review or even a Q&A video, feel free to send me a message with your suggestions. I’d like to thank anybody reading this who has supported me over the years. I had an amazing day speaking to hundreds of pupils at McAuley High for the BBC 100 Share Your Story Careers Tour to celebrate 100 years of the BBC!

I was invited along as a career panellist along with illustrator, David Smith, and BBC Researcher, Emma Young, to share my career journey and answer any questions with the aim to inspire young people to chase their dream career.

It was incredible to talk about the importance of following your heart, even in the face of adversity.

Thank you for looking after me today, team BBC, and of course, the wonderful staff of McAuley Catholic High School.

This was SO much fun to shoot! Me and dad took off in the car and headed for some local woodland. I think I only scared a small handful of unsuspecting people 😉

🎃🦇 HAPPY SPOOKY SEASON! 👻✨

Yesterday I had my first Halloween shoot of the spooky season and I LOVED it! 👻🖤

Back in June, I decided that I wanted to incorporate a cheerleader into my Halloween outfit collection this year. But I didn’t want to be just any cheerleader….I wanted to be a werewolf cheerleader! 🐺🖤

(Which, by the way, was fabulous timing as last night we had one of the brightest, biggest full moons I’ve seen in a long time!)

I decided to do two versions of my cheerleader makeover - a ‘prettier’ version, and a full on creepy prosthetic transformation!

Today, I’m sharing the first version 🖤

I LOVED creating this look! From the super bold eyeliner and red lip, right down to the SFX werewolf scratches and fake blood!

This is the perfect kind of look if you don’t want to go too full on with your costume, but still want to embrace a little Halloween spookiness!
