Adetokumboh “Ade” M'Cormack is an award-winning actor and filmmaker originally from Sierra Leone, currently residing in Los Angeles, CA.
He studied at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film at SUNY Purchase, where he graduated magna cm laude with a BFA Degree in Acting. He is known for his roles as “Isaac” on Netflix’s animated series Castlevania (for which he received two Voice Arts Awards Nominations), “Kofi” on Blood of Zeus and “Lord Meister” on the Emmy nominated, A Tale Dark and Grimm. His film credits include the Oscar nominated Blood Diamond, Battle: Los Angeles and Captain America: Winter Soldier. He has starred in TV shows like NCIS, The Chosen, Lost, Heroes, The OA, Gilmore Girls, and 24.
He created his production company Loma Mansa Productions to bring a voice to social issues and tell stories of the under-represented. Irish Goodbye, the first short film he wrote, directed and produced about a Syrian refugee fleeing persecution, screened at
the Cannes Film Festival and can currently be seen on Amazon Prime Video. He also wrote, directed, produced and starred in The German King, the epic true story of Rudolf Manga Bell, a Cameroonian leader who inspires his nation to rise up against German colonial rule during WWI. The film also screened at the Cannes Film Festival, earned M’Cormack a Best Actor Award at the Rhode Island Film Festival and qualified for Academy Award Consideration. The German King is currently being produced by Angel Studios as a TV series and M’Cormack will return to write, direct, produce and star as the titular character.
M’Cormack is also releasing his graphic novel Orishas: Legacy of Shango about West African mythology in late 2023. M’Cormack is also one of the co-founders of End Ebola Now, an organization created in 2014 to spread accurate information and awareness about the Ebola Virus and its impact through artistic community activism.
M’Cormack will next be seen in the thriller A Dark Way Out directed by Reggie Currelley and the horror film, Do Not Watch, directed by Justin Janowitz.
