Fijian Nakeleto Vodo, who was one of the first 212 Fijians recruited by the British Armed Forces in the 1960's has died in England. He was 82 years old and a full military funeral was accorded to him overnight in Cliffe Woods where he had lived for 45 years. Mr Vodo was awarded a British Empire Medal by the late Queen Elizabeth. He hailed from Nabouwalu, Ono, Kadavu.
