Connect 767 East Central experienced their first loss of the 2024 DFA Premier League season last night against PDVA Pointe Michel in a captivating post-international break match.

Randolph Peltier gave East Central an early lead in the 11th minute, but Perry Charles equalized just after the half-hour mark. The second half was packed with excitement as Reon Cuffy put East Central ahead in the 71st minute, only for Daneal Dupigny to quickly bring Pointe Michel level in the 78th.

Audel Laville scored a brace to lead Dominica to a come from behind win over St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Thursday night.

SVG took the lead through Oryan Velox in the 49th minute. Dominica equalized through Chad Bertrand ten minutes later.

Audel later switched gears and scored in the 71st and 86th minute of the match.

The two teams will meet again on Sunday afternoon

Sagicor South East FC and Connect 767 East Central FC played to a 2-2 draw over the weekend leaving the two teams with 1 win and a draw after two games in the DFA Premier League 2024.

Aaron Prince and Javid George scored for Sagicor South East FC while Chris Lawrence scored an own goal and Reon Cuffy netted the other goal for East Central. Full-time 2-2.

The two teams are 2nd (East Central FC) and 3rd (South East FC) respectively with 4 points each.

The 2024 DFA Premier League has just kicked off, and after the first week of matches, let's take a look at the current standings on the points table.
A total of 23 goals lit up the opening weekend of the league, with CCCUL Dublanc FC impressively netting 11 of those goals.

Travist Joseph showcased his incredible skills on the field as he led CCCUL Dublanc FC to a resounding 11-0 victory against Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers in the DFA Premier League.

Joseph wasted no time in making an impact, securing a hat-trick within the first half, picking up from where he left off last season.

His exceptional performance left the Soca Strikers defense struggling to keep up before he was forced to leave the field due to a minor injury.

Not to be outdone, Audel Laville, another talented player, also made his mark by finding the back of the net twice for CCCUL Dublanc. His goals in the 19th and 84th minute added to the team's impressive tally.

The team's victory was further solidified by goals from other notable players such as Briel Thomas, Savio Anselm, Cobin Paul, and Myric Shillingford.

Connect 767 East Central FC faced off against a spirited Calibishie Diaspora FC at the DFA Technical Centre this past Sunday, delivering an electrifying showdown that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle! ⚽️

From the get-go, Calibishie Diaspora FC came out with guns blazing, applying relentless pressure and showcasing their prowess with some impressive passes that had the premier side scrambling for answers. 💥

Despite the early onslaught, it was Calibishie Diaspora who drew first blood, breaking the deadlock before halftime and leaving East Central trailing. However, the second half saw a dramatic turnaround as East Central mounted a relentless offensive, launching wave after wave of attacks in search of the equalizer. 🌊

And their perseverance paid off as they finally found the back of the net late in the game, sending the crowd into a frenzy! But the drama didn't end there...

In a strategic move by coach Stanton Seraphine, veteran striker Randolph "Skelly" Peltier was brought on for the final minutes of the match, and boy, did he make an impact! Dominica will kick off its campaign in the CONCACAF Men's U20 Championship against Canada on Friday.

The Dominica team left the state on Wednesday and is currently in Trinidad.

Their first game against Canada will commence at 4:00 PM with all matches being played at the Hasley Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain.

Dominica has been drawn in Group D with Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

In a remarkable fashion, Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers secured their promotion to the DFA Premier League on Sunday by triumphing over WE United with a 3-0 victory in the Division One Finals.

The match was played at the Stockfarm Technical Center.

This win not only earned them a spot in the Premier League but also showcased their exceptional skills and determination on the field.

The team's hard work and dedication have paid off, and they can now look forward to competing at a higher level in the upcoming season.

Man of the Match went to Goalkeeper, Casimir Benjamin.

Dominica has earned a spot in League B of the Concacaf Nations League with one game left to play.
The team's victory over the British Virgin Islands was secured by a crucial goal from Defender Eustace Marshall, who scored the winning goal with a header at the A.O Shirley Recreational ground in Tortola.
This win propelled Dominica to the top of Group C.
Dominica entered the match needing to at least avoid a defeat to the BVI to qualify for the next phase of the Concacaf Nation’s League.
In the 52nd minute of play, Audel Laville scored the first goal for Dominica, putting them in the lead.
Despite having a few more chances to score, the team was unable to convert and missed out on doubling their advantage.
T'Sharne Gallimore took advantage of a mistake at the back and equalized for the British Virgin Islands in the 63rd minute.
However, the National team did not give up and continued to put pressure on their opponents.
Eustace Marshall scored the winning goal in the 68th minute off a corner kick from Donte Warrington, putting Dominica in front 2-1.
The team held off a late run from the BVI to secure the win and move to the top of Group C with 7 points and one more game to spare.
With this win, Dominica will be promoted to League B in the next Concacaf Nations League.
