You need dirt? I got you covered!

I don’t have a favorite dirt box, they’re all awesome in each their own ways, but sure have some favorite combinations for specific genres.

For example the tube screamer into the tyrant is huge. Just the most raucous, crushing Doom sound you can imagine.

Just got this - dare I say - mindbending vintage Italian-made combo. I think it’s from the 80’s and sounds pretty good actually. Gain goes up to AC/DC, with nice clean and overdriven sounds.

Might use it on something at some point. Good for noodling in-between mixes so far.

I had the privilege to master Blazing Eternity (Official)’s demo material from the 90’s for a beautiful Vinyl and CD release via Deadbangers Productions!

Denne udgivelse har vi glædet os helt sindssygt meget til at offentliggøre!

Det er 10-15 år siden vi begyndte at snakke om at genudgive de to legendariske Blazing Eternity demoer "Over Sorte Heder" (1996) og
"Der Hviler En Nat Under Sorte Vinterbøge" (1998) via vores label Deadbangers Productions - og nu sker det endelig.

Da bandet afslørerede, at nu var der sgu planer om et spritnyt studiealbum, så gik vi for alvor i gang med det her projekt for et års tid siden. Nu var timingen rigtig. Uden tvivl en af de vigtigste udgivelser i Deadbangers regi rent personligt, da de her demoer har en enorm stor betydning, og det er en absolut ære at få lov til at genudgive dem i bedst mulige udgaver.

Både LP og CD udgaven kommer selvfølgelig med massiv booklet spækket med gamle interviews, fotos, flyers osv gravet frem fra både undertegnedes og bandmedlemmers arkiver. Liner notes fra alle tre founding members : Peter “Nattevogter” Mesnickow, Morten “Sauron” Lybecker og Lars Korsholm.

Remastered til vinyl og CD af Quentin Høegh Nicollet / Black Sun Audio. Coverart+layout af Ustu Mallagam / Moroi Graphics.

CD-udgaven indeholder desuden bonus-nummeret “Over Sorte Heder - alternative version” taget fra det ultra sjældne ”Promo ’97” kassettebånd.

Det nye studiealbum "A Certain End Of Everything" udkommer 19/4 via Mighty Music, og kan forudbestilles her i butikken på LP og Digipack CD.

Bandet er live aktuelle på både Metal Magic Festival -part XVI og Næstved Metalfest 2024 - og de er stærkere end nogensinde!

2023 has been a year of changes. Good changes. I am now dedicating a lot more of my time to Black Sun Audio and my merch company Støjfabrikken. I'm renting a sound studio full time in downtown Aarhus at Sydhavnen, went part-time on my day job, released the website of Black Sun Audio at https://www.BlackSunAudio.com and am close to publishing the website of Støjfabrikken.

I had the honor of producing 3 amazing albums this year, which I hope you checked out and enjoyed as much as I did, namely:

- Temple of Scorn 'Funeral Altar Epiphanies' (Transcending Obscurity Records)

- Sylvatica 'Cadaver Synod' (Mighty Music)

- Gennem Tågen 'Koldt betragtes verden' (Strange Aeons Records & Vendetta Records)

2024 is at the doorstep, and it looks already very promising with a few excellent album productions in the pipeline, Støjfabrikken taking off beautifully, and the huge satisfaction of spending a lot more time shaping sounds.

Make sure to listen to Sylvatica’s new album, it’s very refreshing and carefully crafted

Sometimes the flavor are sweet, while other times bitter, but always presented with a high level of musicianship. Not being familiar with the band before listening to this album, it is tightly wound and confidently prepared.

Motivated by a desire to explore their own artistic style and venture into new territories, SYLVATICA releases today their third album, titled “Cadaver Synod”. This record delves into the dark tales of the Middle Ages, incorporating elements such as the haunting sounds of church organs, theremin, and Gregorian chants.

The result is a set of gloomy and atmospheric compositions, enriched by the addition of Hammond organs and synthesizers, evoking a nostalgic 70s vibe with occasional doom influences. The production on this album is intentionally rawer compared to their previous works, emphasizing the organic and atmospheric aspects while embracing a more playful approach. Despite these changes, the band’s distinctive classic sound remains present, revitalized with a fresh and exciting twist.

Moving to a new space in the center of Aarhus! Still working on the setup, but it already sounds great!

The studio has a mixing room and a booth to track vocals, guitar, bass and whatnot. For drums, I have my 16-track mobile rig to record on location (at your rehearsal room or a rented space) or at the big studio at Monorama in Aabyhøj.

Today we premiere another single from the debut album (coming in November from Transcending Obscurity Records) of the Danish death metal band Temple of Scorn, whose lineup includes members of other impressive groups from the underground.
