Note that Karl's thousands of images and photographs have been digitized and currently being published by his friends and colleagues from the Project Text Database and Dictionary of Classic Mayan at Bonn. Karl's documentation is an important cultural and historical resource being made available by his Bonn colleagues for open access and unrestricted use. His images are of immense value to researchers, historians, students, and enthusiasts of Maya culture and history.
