We continue the behind-the-scenes of "Ezekiel"

The title character is played by, Juan the drummer of the band.
If it looks cold it's because It was. Mid-November in Oslo.

The dinner scene was filmed at a cozy Norwegian restaurant.
We asked the owner if we could film "something quick", and he agreed
so we set up the lights and got the biggest plate, and had Juan stuff himself before they realized what we were filming.
We used the light reflector to cover up because we really didn't need it.
Mind you, Juan was in his homeless clothes the whole time so some guests did look suspicious, if not disgusted.

In the end, we managed to get the shots without getting into to much trouble

"Less than 300 euros?"

A few people have asked what was the budget for our short film "Ezekiel".
And yes it was less than 300 Euros.

As a DIY bunch, we had to resort to all kinds of cost-cutting ideas.
For the next couple of weeks, we will dive behind the scenes into how we put the video together.

The look:
If Ezekiel looks like it's a bunch of pictures it's because it is.
Shot in stop motion about 6000 pictures were taken.
Kudos to the director, John Slingo who color correct and edited all those pictures.

The location:
The beginning was shot in Hausmania which is a squatter community turned into a cultural center, one of the very few left in Oslo.

In the beginning, they were reluctant to let us shoot as they had big corp projects wanting to shoot there (Britney Spears was allegedly one of them) but after we played a bit of the album and reassured them we were a small local band they let us a shot.
