The first time we presented news together it was great and you even encourage me more.

Well it is hard to say RIP but I guess I will have to accept it and face reality .

Cameroon celebrities organise flight mode campaign.

Frustrated with the poor network condition MTN and Orange CAMEROON some Cameroonian celebrities have called for an online campaign , calling on all Cameroonians to set thier phone on flight mode from 12 noon till 2pm daily untill the deplorable network conditions are better
Setting your phone on flight mode entails that you won't be able to receive or make calls , nor will you be able to browse.

Hello guys welcome to another edition of our book review and today we are going to be reviewing the book
"Seven Habbits if highly effective people " by Steven R Covey

Today we continue from were we stopped last week week
1 it is very important for you as a person to have a missionstatent , have a family mission statement, have an organisation mission statement . These are things that will guide you as person , your family or organisation to make correct decisions, to plan and attract good resolution because every decision that has to be taken or plan will be determined on your mission statement.

2 you can't make a mission statement if you don't know your center , now your center is what controls your life and normally your center can limit your effectiveness as well as help you become the best version of yourself. Most people are family centered, marriage centered, relationship centered, workaholic center , self-centered, money centered, possession centered, pleasure centered if as a person you need all of these to be validated as a good person or productive that means your center is weak because you might not alway have the best from the above mentioned point

3 your center should be base on principles these principles will help you to be effective and productive, these principles never change , these principles are not working for their interest but for any one who follow them correctly, these principles never change they are always there .

4 After discovering your center it is important to make a mission statement that you can follow as a person, an organisation, a family , a mission statement should be realistic and it should be participatory when it comes to a family or company if it is not participatory it might not be effective.

A man has been arrested in Bamenda after reportedly caught with body parts .

The police are said to have arrested the man with two arms from the body of Gilbert Yufola, Head of ELECAM Jakiri who was killed in Bamenda on January 18 by Separatist fighters

Reports say the suspect dug the grave at Catholic Cemetery Bayele, chopped both hands from the co**se, and vanished, leaving the grave open.
Alarmed the next morning, the police launched a manhunt for the culprit and caught him in Bamenda with the two hands in a bag.

He reportedly confessed he was paid by some men to deliver the two arms at 500,000 francs.
The suspect is under police custody as investigations continue towards tracking his accomplices

PSG Star Achraf Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk has filed for divorce, demanding more than half of her husband’s property and fortune.

On arriving in court, it was realized that Achraf Hakimi had registered all his property under his mother’s name.

80% of the €1 Million he receives from PSG monthly is deposited in his mother’s account.

The Moroccan footballer has no property, cars, houses, jewelry in his name .

"Seven Habbits of highly effective people " by Stephen R Covey

This book talks of how we can pick up good habbits while doing away with bad habit and making drastic changes in our lives
Lessons I learn from this book

1 Before you can change your habits, you need to have a paragidn shift , that is how you see the world change starts from the mind , if you can't change your mind set then it will be difficult to have the change you desire

2 Be ready to learn and unlearn some certain things ,most often we learn wrong things and we need to unlearn them when we get the right things if not we continue to produce thesame results

3 write your own script ,alot of people are living their lives for others , they are living according to the terms and conditions of their families, the society and so on , you cannot have an effective habbit if you don't know your self , know who you are and write your own script and live it .

4 Picking up a new habbit is a gradual process it takes time , hard work, patience, and sacrifice during this period there are alot of sacrifices that you will need to make as an Individual and you might not see the results instantly but if you continue you will definitely get the best results.

Bike riders in Bamenda go on rampage after one of theirs was involve in an accident with an armored car .

It has been a sad morning for bike riders in the city Bamenda as one of their colleague was killed in an accident with an armored car . The accident which took place at fish pond hill Bamenda , claimed the lives of three people the bike rider and two of his passengers , who were a lady and a little boy . The angry bike riders paraded the streets of Bamenda with thier colleague on a stretcher while the other bodies where taken to the mortuary.

Reports says the lady who died happened to be a member of CWA and was heading to church for the ordination mass taken place at the Big Mankon Cathedral.

Most often we lament about the state of unemployment in our country , but then we have other opportunities or alternatives staring at us and we have refused to pic up this opportunities. It is very possible for us to create jobs for ourselves but most often we do not want to venture into this opportunities because almost every youth out there wants a white colar job . It is important to have an added skill to what you have learned in school as an individual , I have seen students who have graduated from the university and the skills they learnt in their school days is what is paying their bills today not even the certificates they have obtained from the University. It is important to be educated but it is an error to rely solely on those documents. I know of people who are well educated but are doing something else out of their field of studies, some became designers, beauticians, cooks , make up artist and after graduation these things still settle thier bills . For those of who are still in the University take out time to learn a new skill while studying it will never be a waste . Non the less your education is still very important but you can't depend on it alone .

1 we need to always invest in our lives and career if we want to make a difference and stand out among our peers more work needs to be done
2 Never be discourage to pitch your ideas especially in your company even if you fail the first time go back to the drawing board and think of what went wrong try again and keep trying untill you get it .
3 Not every one is born to be an entrepreneur , so don't force yourself to be one if that is not your purpose .
4 Discover your purpose , each and every one of us have a purpose that God has given to us find your purpose and make money out of it while deriving satisfaction and fulfillment
5 You should be an asset to your company not a liability , always look for greater opportunities that can boost your company be a problem solver believe in yourself
6 last but not the least but most importan point , be mindful of your circle the kind of people you keep as friends will have a negative impact or positive impact depending on the kind of circle you have . Your circle of friends should challenge you to be a better person every day of your life.

The Director General of Laquintinie hospital in
Douala suspends two midwives and a student nurse on internship over stolen baby case.

The Director of the Hospital Essomba Noel had earlier signed a communique in less than 24 hours stating that there was no case of a
missing baby at the hospital, it was rather a case of miss communication between the family of the infant and the workers of Laquintinie hospital in Douala , the mother on the other hand insisted that her baby was stolen , the lady says non of her family member were permitted into the labour during the time of delivery.

The press release signed by Essomba Noel Emmanuel, Director of the hospital comes less than 24 hours after he first debunked the newsabout a baby disappearing from the facility.

The Director has called on the Gendarmerie to open investigations on the case.

Well we are now in the second quater of the year and I will like us to take out time to evaluate ourselves to see if we are actually making progress or stagnating .
if you aren't making any progress yet don't give up , go back to your plan and check where you are failing , if you have to restrategies then do it but remember don't quit winers don't quit and you are a winer tell yourself that every day

" The Smart Money Woman" By Arese Ugwu
The book, smart woman money talks about a group of Africans ladies who have decent jobs and earn good salaries but then still face financial challenges because they are spend thrift and can not give an account of what they spend their money on .
Seven things I learn from this book
1 Most often we don't monitor how we spend our money , we have alot of things we spend money on that are not necessary.
2 No matter how much you earn it will never be enough if can not give account of how you spend your money.
3 It is very important to always have a side hussle apart from your job. Always have a long term investment goal no matter how small it is.
4 Feed the body that works the money, man weh work must chop but then when it is exaggerated you turn to realise that you waste money unnecessarily. It is important to give yourself a threat after some hard work but it should be done moderately and not beyond your financial power.
5 Plan how you will spend your money every month don't just spend money abruptly.
6 Always save, during rainy days because you will definitely need them, do not eat and eat your seeds.
7 Improve on your career or business , what ever is your source of income do well to invest in them and be kin to follow the latest trend that can take you to the next level.
It is very important to know how to manage your finance if you can't manage your finances no matter how much your earn , you will always find yourself broke .
Spend wisely and live a better life

During my days in GPS Atuakum Bamenda, the 11th of February meant alot to me not because i realy understood the importance of this day to me as a youth or to Cameroon as a nation, but because I was going to put on my well ironed uniform, well polished shoes and a pair of white sock , how I was going to swing my arms in front of the governor and buy my sugarcane "strong kanda" after match past.
Just like me in the past many youths do not know the significance of the 11th of February and why it is called youth day .
In 1961 a referendum was held in British Southern Cameroon to determine whether the then British territory should join Cameroon or Nigeria and British Southern Cameroon voted to join French Cameroon.
A year after the Plebiscite , John Ngu Foncha proposed that this day should be dedicated to the youths of Cameroon as they are the leaders of tomorrow and the future of the county.
The 57th editor of this year's youth day is celebrated under the theme "Youth ,moral,civic and entrepreneurial, rearmament,a guarantee for discipline in building a united and prosperious Cameroon" .

The Office of the Public Independent Conciliator - North West Region is a body put in place by the government to ensure that the councils and regional authorities carry out their activities effectively in the community without violating human rights.
PIC settles conflicts between the councils and its workers, and those in the communities

PIC acts as a mediator between the council and the people of the community.

Conducts investigation on the council and its activities in the community.

Ensure the councils and council authorities respect the rights of the people and serve the effectively.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬
Whenever you feel your rights are being violated by the council, you can report to the PIC for intervention. For example Civil status documents are to be issued free of charge except for the purchase of stamps every other service for the production of civil status documents like birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates are supposed to be produced by the councils for free.

But the question is, how prepared are you for a new turn?

Remember if you want to achieve something different then you must do something different.
If you really want to take a new turn then you need to do something different

Write down your goals for 2023 now writing them down is not enough, you need a plan of action.
How do you plan on achieving these goals?

Make sure you goals and plans are realistic.
Equally put a time frame which you will want to achieve these and put a time frame for monitoring and evaluation.

Try these few tips and you will see how you are taking a new turn.
