In 1938, the ministry started with a radio program called Detroit Bible Class. Since then, the audience has grown from a small group of dedicated radio listeners to millions of people around the world who use our Bible-based resources. Incorporated in Canada in 1959 as Radio Bible Class (Canada), we shortened our name to RBC Ministries Canada in the 1990's to better reflect the variety of resource

s we offer. Then, in 2015, we realized that most people recognize who we are by the well-loved devotional Our Daily Bread, and changed our name to Our Daily Bread Ministries Canada. Although our name has changed, our focus remains the same: reaching out to people across Canada, and all around the world with the message of God’s love. We’re a non-denominational, non-profit organization with staff and volunteers and over 35 affiliated offices working together to distribute more than 60 million resources in 150 countries. Regardless of whether it’s an audio or video program, DVD, podcast, book, mobile app, or website, we provide materials to help people grow in their relationship with God. For over 75 years, we’ve witnessed God’s faithfulness to the mission of Our Daily Bread Ministries Canada. And we know that it’s only with you, your families, your friends, your churches and your support that we’ve been able to share the good news of God’s love, grace, and forgiveness all over the world. Today, Our Daily Bread is distributed via print, large-print, radio, podcast, email, rss and mobile. In his letter to the Galatians, the apostle Paul famously lists the “fruit” that results from a relationship with Jesus. It was God's love, joy, peace, patience, and other characteristics that gave him hope even in the worst of circumstances.

Paul would probably be the first to admit that his life before Christ was not bearing the flourishing fruit of the Spirit.

🧑‍⚖️ - Before becoming Paul, Saul was a zealous member of the Sanhedrin, seeking to kill all of Jesus’ followers.
🌤️ - While on the road to Damascus, a bright light from Heaven shines down, temporarily blinding Saul, followed by Jesus’ voice (Acts 9:3-8).
✝️ - Now known as Paul, he begins to train with the disciples, boldly preaching about Jesus, and helping grow the early church (Acts 9:28-31).
📣 - In the late AD 40s, Paul began to travel across the Roman Empire, sharing the good news of Jesus with Gentiles. Altogether, he made three missionary journeys.
💌 - Throughout his ministry, and even while in prison, Paul wrote many of the letters that would come to make up a large amount of the New Testament.
🧔 - In the mid-to-late AD 60s, Paul is martyred for his faith in Jesus.

Has it felt like an uphill battle to grow peace, patience, or other spiritual fruit recently? Though his new life in Christ started in an instant, Paul’s transformation didn’t just happen overnight.

Through our daily walk with Jesus, we, like Paul, are invited into a journey of change—one that encourages us to become more and more like Him each moment of every day. And the more we seek out His truth, we find that we become more and more equipped to live greatly different lives—despite the circumstances we face.
