🎨 **Artist Spotlight** 🎨
We’re thrilled to feature Canadian artist and illustrator Margot Forman - ! Her stunning watercolours *Malden Park* and *Ojibway Park* received special mentions from our jury in the Fall Cover contest. 🍂✨

Margot studied at the Centre for Creative Studies in Detroit and graduated from the Ontario College of Arts in Toronto. She works in watercolour and oil, focusing on still life, plein air, and portraits. She is also an active member of the Windsor Essex Plein Air Artists and the Art Society of Kingsville .

We are excited to highlight Calm, a beautiful photograph by .harper.reid - Leslie Harper-Reid, which received a special mention from our jury panel. Her piece Grey vs Green also won third place in our Fall contest! 🏅
Leslie, a lifelong artist and recently retired visual arts teacher, brings a passion for incorporating botanical forms into her mixed media works. She continues to inspire through her teaching and creative exploration.

✨ Artist Spotlight: - Andrea Niven ✨
We’re thrilled to announce that Andrea Niven’s painting “Promise” has won 1st place in our Fall 2024 Cover Art Contest and will be featured on the cover of the upcoming issue! 🎨✨ Her second entry, “Listen,” also received a special mention.
Andrea is a visual arts instructor at the Leamington Arts Centre and is currently in her third year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the University of Windsor. Growing up in Amherstburg, Ontario, she was deeply inspired by the natural beauty of the Big Creek marsh. Her artwork reflects the changing seasons and her Métis heritage, sharing Indigenous perspectives in a meaningful way.
