Friends,

Our beloved Marshall Ward -- friend, father, artist, storyteller, columnist, podcaster, one-of-a-kind human -- died unexpectedly on Dec. 3 at the age of 52.

If you're reading this, Marshall touched your life in some way. So you already know about his compassion, his boundless curiosity, his love of family, his gift for storytelling, and his selfless dedication to celebrating other members of our creative community.

Through the grief of his loss, let's also be grateful to have known Marshall. We are all better for having had him in our lives.

If you can, please join his family and friends for a drop-in celebration of his remarkable, beautiful life on Tuesday Dec. 19, between 4pm and 7pm, at Erb & Good Funeral Home in Waterloo.

We hope the audio archives of Bonn Park and An Unscripted Spectacle will provide a way for Marshall's voice to continue sharing his wit, wisdom and heart.

Marshall was thrilled to be part of our latest movie projects. One about Hip Hop in Waterloo Region, and one about his all-time favourite subject, pro wrestling. We are more determined than ever to bring the films to fruition, and they will be dedicated to Marshall.

Posted • Hello Friends!

🎬 I've got huge news! My next movie is coming, and it's a doozy! 🦓

You're invited to step into the ring for "The Ref Didn't See It," a documentary about the unsung heroes of professional wrestling -- in zebra stripes -- the referees.

We've partnered with Colin Hunter of Kayfabe News (Bonn Park Podcast episode 10), a satirical site known as "The Onion for wrestling," to create a funny, heartfelt film about the real people who maintain order in the unreal world of pro wrestling!

Our crew has been filming behind-the-scenes at wrestling events over the past year at legions, schools, nightclubs and gyms around Waterloo Region. The film features trainers and trainees at Kitchener's , Canada's first female-owned wrestling school (who we featured on our other podcast, an Unscripted Spectacle).

Not a wrestling fan? Great! This movie is for anyone who believes in the importance of make-believe and has chased a dream.

Please help us spread the word!
