5th ANNUAL VIVA VICTORIA LATIN FESTIVAL
Get ready for the 5th Annual Viva Victoria Latin Fest at Centennial Square taking place on August 3rd and 4th. This family friendly and free event showcases the best food, dance, music and culture from Latin America right here in Victoria! Some of the groups performing include: Pablo Cardenas and the West Coast Cuban Orchestra, Latin Vibes Orchestra, Isabel Santos Zumba, Mariachi Sin Frontera, Ballet Folklorico of Victoria Fiesta Latina Dancers, Daniela Cardenas, Sofia Leonne and El Slow Mo, Ritmo Latino Dance Group, Colombian singer Valeria, Danza Colombia, Fusion Chibcha, the Wasakaka All-Stars, Furia Latin Rock Band and more. There are two evening dance concerts on Saturday August 3rd at the Mint with Furia Rock Band at and on Sunday with the Wasakaka All Stars at the Sticky Wicket Dance Club. PABLO CARDENAS PRESENTS LATIN FUNK NIGHT
Cuban pianist Pablo Cardenas and his West Coast Cuban Orchestra invite you to an evening of Latin Funk with the Latin style fusion of rhythms and songs of Stevie Wonder, Etta James, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson and more. This event takes place at the Victoria Event Centre on Saturday August 10. Doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. LATIN NIGHT WITH DJ WALE
Enjoy an evening of Latin dance with DJ Wale from Honduras and New Zealand. The event takes place on Friday August 16th at the Victoria Event Centre. DJ Wale will play bachata, salsa, reggaeton and Latin House to dance the night away. Doors open at 10pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
