Their previous association of many years produced multiple iconic campaigns such as the Interac "Yellow Truck" series, Canada Post's "Red Cart" spots, three years of the Coors Light Maximum Golf initiatives, and of course, the unforgettable Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism campaigns of 2015-2022.
Director/cameraman Paul Santana is a highly recognized, award winning, filmmaker whose collaborative work ethic has consistently fostered long term relationships which produce great images and successful results.

Sparks is thrilled to announce its new association with director David Vergés for commercial
production in Canada.
David Vergés is a film director who resides in Barcelona and actively works worldwide.
His filmmaking journey began at the prestigious ESCAC film school, where he graduated
with a degree in Film Directing. Since then, he’s been on a storytelling journey,
constantly learning and discovering new ways to tell a great story. Coca-Cola, Audi,
Netflix, Lamborghini, Sony, Jeep, Powerade, and Volkswagen are just a few of the many
iconic brands he’s been fortunate enough to collaborate with. In his travels his work has
received many international awards including snagging a Cannes Lion for the Audi
project 'Invisible Man".
David’s long form work has also garnered serious international recognition. His film, Etiqueta
Negra, won several awards and was selected for competition at Tribeca Film Festival and the
Zurich International Film Festival.
Sparks is especially pleased to announce our new association in Canada with director Allison Swank.
Allison is an award-winning filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. She has collaborated with Questlove’s music channels OkayAfrica and Okayplayer, working with renowned artists like Erykah Badu, Elvis Costello, A$AP Rocky, and Flying Lotus. Her independent documentary Scum Boy gained her notoriety in METAL Magazine, PAPER, and others, winning "Best Short Documentary" at the IMDB Independent Shorts Awards in LA, and was an official selection for Shorts On Tap, London, Hot Docs, and was invited to screen at AFI Docfest.
Recently Allison was nominated for "Best New Director" at AICP '24 (Association of Independent Commercial Producers) and at Le Book '24
Sparks is delighted to announce its newly minted association with London based director Lucy Bridger for commercial production in Canada.
Lucy is known for her warm, impactful and human stories of underrepresented characters in society. Lucy's commercial campaign Hide and Seek, for the domestic abuse charity Refuge, won a Gold award at LIA, Silver at Creative Circle, Bronze at Ciclope while also making the D&AD Shortlist.
Her piece for Cadbury Fingers, Sign with Fingers Big and Small, won Silver at The British Arrows 2023. Her Back to School anti-bullying campaign for The Diana Award was shortlisted this year at the The British Arrows 2024.

Baltimore native Sheldon Candis is a graduate of the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts. Candis’ feature directorial debut LUV was an official selection in the 2012 Sundance Film Festival Dramatic Competition. Sheldon has also directed the feature-length documentary Baltimore Boys for the prestigious ESPN Films banner, Who Will Survive America for the AMC Networks/ Sundance Now Doc Club original series Take 5: Justice in America, When the Lights Are Brightest for Springhill Entertainment and recently, Colin in Black & White (which chronicles the early wonder years of civil rights activist and cultural icon athlete Colin Kaepernick) for Netflix.
Sheldon has been equally prolific in advertising, having directed work for Amazon, Ford, Microsoft, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, Dove, Walmart, Under Armour, and many other clients.
