Last week we hosted our extremely successful CONFIDENTIAL OPEN MIC NIGHT last week on February the 9th! Selling over 25 tickets and raking in over $140 dollars for MusiCounts it was quite the show! Liam Warner started us off with a beautiful rendition of “This is the Way you Make me Feel” by Michael Jackson immediately showing the high caliber of talent Harris has to offer. Dave Sully then fed off of Liam’s energy with his soulful debut single “Start of War,” getting the audience's hearts to feel the intense emotion conveyed in his voice.
Brenden James Rodgers then ramped up the crowd with some absolutely intense and powerful shredding to Periphery’s “Marigold” taking down the house with his axe guitar. ROA then brought the chill vibe to the audience smoking up the house with “Not for You” featuring Mr. Meanie Biagini dropping and spitting mad bars and beats.
Kari Lyn Blacquiere who is currently nominated for Rock Album of the Year in PEI showing “Darkside” off her new album Hit the Ground showcasing her beautiful voice and soulful guitar playing. Dave Sully ended the night powerfully with Lionel Richie’s “Hello,” once again displaying his emotional timbre to his voice and beautiful piano playing.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out to show on Tuesday and we thank you for its success and all the money we raised for MusiCounts.
