Sub Level Music established in 2008, is an independent music production service and record label. Joe De Simone, founder of Sub Level Music is a Toronto based producer, remixer and engineer. His interest in production grew from his passion for house, electronic, dance and hip hop music, beginning in the early 90’s as a DJ. The label is meant as a outlet for Joe to release his own tracks however, s
ince his launch, Joe has also provided services for artists, record labels, artist management and multimedia companies. He is continuously delivering quality productions and remixes. In the time SLM has been in business, Joe has had the opportunity to work with various major and independent artists such as: Thane (Empire of Soul Records), MC Flipside (PBR Recordings), Amanda Morra, Grenville Pinto (Violinist), Joe Ghost, Boat People Productions (France), Anastasia A, Tim Toishi, The Human Record, Suzy D and Michie Mee amongst many others. Working with major and independent labels such as: Universal Music, Attack Media Group, On Time Music Group, Costa Music, Soulkiss Entertainment, Casa Records (New York), Big Groove Records (UK), PBR Recordings, Hi Bias Records and more, has established Joe as a reliable and trustworthy music producer. Joe’s productions have been licensed to a number of major/indie dance labels such as: Hedkandi, Black Hole Recordings, Instereo Recordings and 6n7 Music. Joe’s work can also be heard on H&M’s a mega retailer, in their store playlist at outlets across North America. Many of Joe’s productions have also been licensed to film and television and can be heard on the successful TV series Grand Benders aired on MTV Canada. Joe’s productions have been charted and supported by several of the world’s best international DJ’s such as: Roger Sanchez, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Nick Fanciulli, Flash Brothers and more. Along with receiving radio plays on Z103.5 and Flow 93.5 FM Toronto, his tracks have also hit the billboard Hot Club Breakout Charts and media2 radio charts. Joe’s work as a music producer, remixer and audio engineer continues to get his clients noticed and effectively achieve crossover success from clubs to radio. Joe has earned great credibility through his ongoing dedication and pride in every project he takes on.
