As we wrap up our Thanksgiving holiday in Canada, I wanted to share a message of gratitude with you.

I've always felt lucky & grateful for all the amazing people & experiences that have made my life so incredible.

Whether you are a longtime friend, a fan or a peer, I want to say thank you.

To my longtime friends who have followed my journey from small town Orillia to a life on stage and screen, thank you for all your support over the years. I love that I still have so many hometown friends and have so many fond memories of good ol Orillia!

To fans of comedy who have ever bought a ticket to Comedy Alley or any other show, I reeeeeeally appreciate you. Thank you for supporting live entertainment. Making people laugh is a joy and something I will never get tired of or take for granted, and without an audience, well that would just be weird...so thank you!

And finally to my peers, all of the comedians and actors who I have had the pleasure of working with over the years in shows, movies and in Actors Audition Club, I reeeeeeeally fu***ng love you.

Comedians, actors and artists of any kind are a special kind of unicorn that I love so much.

We have built a special community at Laughing Vikings, Comedy Alley and Actors Audition Club...something that I take a lot of pride and am so grateful to be a part of. Most days I have to pinch myself and ask like David After Dentist: "Is this real life?" And fortunately, the answer is YES!

So thank you all for being a part of Laughing Vikings, Comedy Alley & Actors Audition Club!

The courage and strength it takes to go against the grain of societal norms and swim the upstream battle of a life in the arts is something that I will always respect. I am a fan first and am always blown away by the talent that surrounds us.

Whether it's a comic making a crowd laugh or an actor making a crowd cry, artists and entertainers are such a rare breed of humans and I count myself lucky to be a part of this community every day, but especially in our world right now.

We are living in a world of unprecedented conflict, division and uncertainty, but it's always through arts & entertainment, laughter and storytelling that we are able to come together as human beings and remember what we all truly value: laughter and love.

So in these times of trouble, know that what you do is SO important, maybe THE MOST important.

So keep on keeping on.

We need the arts.

We need stories.

We need entertainment.

We need to laugh.

And most importanlty we need to love.

So keep being a beacon of love and light in the world, for that is exactly what gets us through the dark times.
