THE GOLF WARS: A fiesty local chapter of the Ragging Grannies kidnaps legendary golf pro Forest Lions to stop the bulldozing of a sensitive wetland in order to build a luxury golf course To keep their hostage hidden these ladies go low tech, smuggling him along the 40 northern-most miles of the Underground Railway and teach him some old school do-gooder survival skills along the way. TOURISTS OF THE REVOLUTION: An eco adventure/comedy about two neophyte videographers who head south to the Copper Canyons document an endangered Mexican woodpecker and end up embroiled in an armed peasant insurrection over habitat land use and drugs. WIRED FOR SOUND: A “The Producers” inspired film completion insurance scam in which sleazy a B movie producer puts out a contract out on his former teen beat pop star and now cast and crew are falling all over each other to make a killing. BARE ROOTS: A “walk-your-talk” eco adventure. The Millennial generation goes tree planting in B.C. and gets caught behind the barricades in a native land claims standoff while a forest fire rages out of control.
