After weeks of construction, Jonsson’s Your Independent Grocer in Kemptville is getting ready to celebrate the end of its renovations. The store is hosting a reopening ceremony on Friday, Aug. 25, with special guests and giveaways.

The extensive renovations started May 30 and involved “fully updating the store and a lot of its equipment and carbon footprint,” explained owner Steve Jonsson.
