🍨DO YOU SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM🍦
Chocolats Favoris] has been our summertime go to spot for the kids. They absolutely love it. And they absolutely scream for ice cream. They get so excited when they hear we are going for ice cream. And who wouldn’t, I know I do lol.
Got the Small Crunchy Hazelnut - Kooky Ofcourse, cause is their any other way. Just a great combination - A dark chocolate base with some crunchy sweet pieces coated with hazelnut paste inside. All this accompanied by a decadent piece of hazelnut cake and even more hazelnuts! Just so delicious.

And it a spicy one. Indian flavor to be precise. I just want to stand here and and give a standing ovation cause this was one of my favorite duos. To the point I needed to get another. You want to know what it is don’t you.
Pakora Burger Duo Combo
AAA Smash burger topped with, with an onion Pakora, pickled jalapenos, Leaf lettuce, Mint Cilantro Chutney, BFF BBQ Sauce and a yogurt Raita. Served on a Brioche bun
This my friends is a duo you need to put in your belly. The Onion pakora was AMAZING. I could probably eat 20 of them right now. That’s how good they are.

STACKS ON STACKS.
How do you stack up? The Baker] is right at the top for me when it comes to Fresh Mediterranean pies.
And, we are talking about a nice sized pie starting from $2.50 up to $5.50. And it doesn’t matter which pie you get you will be telling yourself that you should have ordered more.
Our go to pies are

Basil Pesto & Halloumi
Cheese ( for the kids and me lol)
Super Zaatar ( loves this one)
And my new FAVORITE AKKAWI CHEESE - Soft white brine cheese. It’s just SOO good.

Pork Belly + Brussels Caesar
Mixed Kale, charred Brussel sprouts (AMAZING), shaved Parmesan, slow roasted pork belly, red onion (BEST SALAD I’VE HAD)
Fried Chicken Sandwich
Marinated Chicken Thigh, Buffalo sauce, creamy slaw, house pickles, brioche bun (this was delicious. Everything worked so well together)
BBQ Platter
Signature BBQ Pllatter comes with your choice of 2 Meats + 2 sides. We got house ribs (fall off the bone) blackened shrimp (this was really good) Mac w pulled Pork (Mac was creamy and delicious) Creamy Slaw (a staple here)
The Half Bird
Hickory Smoked Free Ranged Half Chicken Marinated in Jerk Seasoning, topped with Fresh Cut Pineapple - cilantro salsa. You also get two sides - we choose Brussels w Bacon Aioli (I could eat bowls and bowls of this, so GOOD) Smoked Bacon + Egg potato Salad
Seriously, this meal was amazing we enjoyed the food, the ambiance and the service. We both agree that you would be happy with any of these dishes but YOU MUST GET THE BRUSSELS W BACON AIOLI. It’s a must. This is life changing stuff. It truly put a smile on my face.
What dish would you try first? When we go back I’m going to have to try the Fork + Knife Chicken. It looked delicious. Any everyone looked so happy eating it lol.

This is the third location of the Laheeb Restaurants group and it is so beautiful.Their specialty is both Charcoal Shawarma & marinated kebabs. They also serve charcoal-grilled chicken & lamb chops.
Such a unique authentic taste. So good.

WHEN YOU CANT DECIDE. What do you do? I clearly get both, cause well you never want to be hungry afterwards or you just want leftovers for later. And these bowls did not disappoint.
I have been trying to change my lifestyle a bit by eating healthier during the week and what better way than It’s quick, it’s delicious, and it really does hit the spot

Another hidden gem that should be known by ALL. 50 TWO Breakfast and Lunch] makes some insanely good sandwiches 🥪
What we got:
Stuffs U Face - Every deli meat they have, cheddar and provolone cheese. Added lettuce, tomato, onion and hot eggplant dressed with spicy Mayo.

This was a HOMERUN ⚾️🏟Maybe one of the best sandwiches I have had. Another fan favorite is the Candied Club. Which ever one you get you will not be disappointed.

ricksgoodeats] is absolutely a place YOU NEED to put on your list if you haven’t already. My cousin introduced me to this master piece of a place when I was visiting Toronto that serves Punjabi-Canadian cuisine with a fusion twist. And now he has made me into a regular when we go home to visit in Toronto
What we ordered
Rick’s Tandoori Fried Chicken Sandwich and Ricks Tandoori Fried Chicken Fries
- Battered, double fried, 24hr marinated Tandoori Chicken, smothered in Ting Tang Sauce and Zesty Aioli. Finished with red onions and cilantro.
I know, this sounds delicious but I’m going to tell you that the flavors were outstanding. Just perfectly put together. Just typing this is making me crave it.
Jerk Chicken Samosa (BEST SAMOSA’s I’ve EVER HAD) - this is a big statement but wow this was unreal and unlike anything I’ve tried. You really need to try everything on this menu to understand how good this spot is.
you are a genius. Keep making some killer dishes. I’m ready for them.

Found a NEW favorite in that we hope will be a mainstay 👏. is a pop-up breakfast kitchen out of that has knocked brunch out of the park 🤩.
Our Favorites- (Which one would you pick?!)
The Lex - slow-smoked brisket, fried egg, B.E.C sauce, and a crispy fried onion and jalapeños on a brioche bun 🤯
The slow smoked brisket was melt your mouth. By far our favourite. fully approved 🤤. Just perfect
The Calvin - soft scrambled with chives, American cheese, caramelized sweet onion, and sriracha aioli on a brioche bun 👀(loved this, might be my go-to here) 💫
Loaded Breakfast Tots - house seasoning , slow-smoked brisket, pickled jalapeño and red onion, dirty cheese sauce, B.E.C sauce, sunny side egg, cilantro (YOU NEED TO GET THIS ‼️- all the servers said this is the dish and they weren’t wrong. Even get it as a side, you won’t regret it) 🔥

PIZZA. ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!!! This beautiful piece of work is from one of our favorite spots here in ottawa .
What makes the pizza for you? The crust, the sauce or the toppings? If I had to go with one, the crust is key. But, you need a perfect sauce lol. And you can’t forget about the toppings lol. What do you think?
This is what we got:
THE SWEETHEART - tomato sauce. Aged & fresh mozzarella, dry-cured pepperoni, jalapeño, oregano, finished with honey. .
Now if that doesn’t sound magical then I don’t know what to tell you. This is just a perfect blend of everything that I love. And please, do not SLEEP ON THE GARLIC SAUCE. It’s amazing and a perfect compliment to this flavourful pizza.
This to me is just everything I ever want in a pizza. It’s just so delicious. And anyone that has had them, knows. So for those that have had them, what’s your favorite pie? And for those that haven’t. What are you waiting for?

So hard to pick just one. Or two. But if you had to pick one donut what would it be. What would your go to do it be.
Mine.
Well, it’s an apple fritter. It never disappoints. Second would be a Boston Creme. Just hard to top those two classic donuts and .doughnuts do them right.
This red velvet is a nice touch to their lineup which includes a maple bacon, rough rider, cinnamon toast, just to name a few.

When you think of a GO-TO PIZZA SPOT, .nerds on is on the top of our list. Better yet, I think it’s the top of everyone’s list. So if this is the first time you are hearing about .nerds just stop right here and go order yourself one. You will thank us all later.
On Bank and Flora Street, this Ottawa Pizza spot started their business last year when we all needed some REALLY GOOD pizza.
Here’s what we got:
2nd Photo - Bank ( Mushroom Pizza) White pizza with cheese, marinated portobello mushrooms, cracked black pepper, Parmesan and truffle oil
3rd photo - Lyon (Nerd Pizza)
Black-pepper-molasses bacon, local cheese, pickled red onion and chili basil honey
4th photo - Gladstone (Calabrese Pizza)
Tomato, cheese, slightly spicy Calabrese sausage, and arugula
