L'Atelier Animation a eu le plaisir d'accueillir des étudiants de UQAT | Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue et de Rubika Montréal pour notre journée étudiante.

Nos superviseurs ont guidé avec enthousiasme plus d'une vingtaine d'étudiants tout au long de la journée, décomposant méticuleusement les étapes d'une séquence d'un film d'animation, du storyboard à l'image finale. Partageant des outils précieux et des astuces professionnelles qui seront des atouts essentiels pour leurs futures carrières, la journée fut inspirante des deux côtés!🎬

Un grand merci à tous les participants d'avoir rendu cette journée possible 🚀

L'Atelier had the pleasure of welcoming students from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Rubika Montréal for our student day.

Our supervisors enthusiastically guided over twenty students throughout the day, meticulously breaking down the steps of an animation film sequence, from storyboard to final image.Sharing valuable tools and professional tips that will be essential assets for their future careers, the day was inspiring for both sides!

VIEW CONFERENCE: Nous sommes ravis de vous annoncer que Josianne Tremblay, notre superviseure environnement, sera présente au View Conference. Josianne est une professionnelle et une artiste talentueuse qui collabore étroitement avec les directeurs artistiques pour créer des designs uniques en harmonie avec la stylisation du film.

"J'ai eu le privilège de contribuer à la création de l'univers de Fireheart, avec ses éléments des années 1930 à New York, c'était une expérience incroyablement gratifiante." Elle ajoute avec fierté : "Mon travail a également inclus la modélisation de l'Opéra de Paris pour le film Ballerina (Leap), un trésor architectural et un moment fort de ma carrière." -Josianne

De plus, elle a supervisé la modélisation des éléments et des environnements du très attendu long métrage 10 Lives de GFM, bientôt à l'affiche.

Nos superviseurs ont été ravis de faire découvrir, la semaine dernière, le merveilleux monde de l'animation 3D à de jeunes étudiants du primaire. Le studio a concocté une visite sous forme de station, où les enfants ont pu en apprendre davantage sur les différentes étapes de la production d'un film d'animation 3D, passant de l'animation à la conception d'environnements, puis à la création de textures. Tout le monde est ressorti grandi de cette expérience, et quel bonheur ce fût de voir l'enthousiasme des jeunes pour ce travail!
Un salut tout spécial à Lino Lemardelé, Alexy Houle et Arthur Charbonneau nos futurs artistes :) 👋👋👋

Our supervisors were delighted to introduce elementary school students to the wonderful world of 3D animation. The studio prepared for them a station-style visit, where they could learn about the different stages of a 3D animated film production, going from animation and environment design, to texture creation. Everyone grew from the experience, and it was great to see how enthusiastic the kids were about embracing this career path!

Georgia est un personnage avant-gardiste qui lutte pour ses convictions et ses droits. Ses qualités ont inspiré de nombreuses femmes et jeunes filles à travers le monde.

'Débutant comme CG généraliste, j’ai eu l’opportunité de comprendre le fonctionnement de chaque département. Me sentant passionné et impliqué, L’Atelier m’a donné l’opportunité de co-développer le département de teck check dont j’ai été le superviseur pendant deux ans avant de devenir CG superviseur.

Mon rôle actuel consiste à soutenir la production et les artistes en trouvant des solutions face aux défis techniques et artistiques qui peuvent survenir lors de la production d’un long métrage.'

'Beginning as a CG Generalist, I had the opportunity to understand the functioning of each department. Feeling passionate and involved within the studio, L'Atelier gave me the opportunity to co-develop the Teck Check department, of which I have been the supervisor for two years before being named CG Supervisor.

My current role is to support the production and the artists by finding solutions for the technical and artistic challenges that can arise during the production of a feature film.'
