Getting the Canadian rights to Law of Success by Napoleon Hill was my first business venture. That book, along with Think and Grow Rich are the basis of my personal philosophy. Although Think and Grow Rich has sold over 60 million copies since it was first published

in 1938, I prefer Law of Success, although at over 1000 pages, it is a bigger commitment to read. Despite having Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) since age 5 and having had 4 hips, 4 knees and 2 shoulders replaced and being in hospital about 40 times, I have always had a positive attitude. My arthritis has affected every joint in my body from my jaw to my toes. Many of my joints have severe range of motion restrictions or are totally fused and unable to move. The worst surgery I have had to recover from was an ankle fusion that forced me to have about 5 posts sticking out both sides of my ankle area for a number of months. I also developed cataracts at the age of 12 due to high daily does of the oral steroid, prednisone. Later, at around age 25, because I was unable to reach with my hands and elbows to put contact lenses in any longer, I had intraocular lens implants. This surgery involves inserting a contact lens like device behind your eye while you are awake. Prednisone also stunted my growth and I stand 5'. The first goal I wrote was to meet the then Prime Minister of Canada, Brian Mulroney. I accomplished that goal and met with him by appointment with my friend Shane Morand, Co-Founder of Organo Gold. Shane, Derrick Sweet and I also brought Mark Victor Hansen to Ottawa before the publication of his 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' book series. I've been featured in several newspaper articles, including the Ottawa Citizen and Nepean Pennysaver. I've also done the Firewalk, walking about 25 feet over 1900 degree fahrenheit coals. Working with Peak Performance Systems, Peak Performers Network and Success Source, I have sold courses and seminar tickets for Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, David Chilton (The Wealthy Barber), Tom Hopkins, Tony Robbins, Mark Tewksbury (Olympic Gold medal swimmer) among others. I will be graduating soon as a Napoleon Hill Certified Science of Success Instructor and will spend the rest of my life talking about, and teaching, the 17 Success Principles and selling Napoleon Hill Foundation authorized publications and training.
