This week, I was fortunate enough to visit not one, but two incredible spas! First, I enjoyed the elegant treatments and relaxing atmosphere at eforea: spa at Hilton in Markham. The Signature Three Part massage left me feeling like butter – warm, soft, and smooth. Followed by a rejuvenating facial, my skin has never looked better! Swipe to see some highlights from my day.

In October 2005, after an investment of over 5 million dollars and more than a year and a half of work, BALNEA Spa and Thermal Reserve was officially inaugurated. From the moment it opened its doors, BALNEA has become a reference for day spas in Quebec.

BALNEA redefines the art of relaxation with contemporary design, exceptional client service, and an “all inclusive” experience in a refined ambiance. Offering authenticity and gratitude, BALNEA is a timeless, voluptuous, gourmet health resort experience, an ode to nature, and an adventurous sanctuary that inspires, rejuvenates, and awakens. 🌿✨

Looking to the future, BALNEA has launched a two-phase eco-friendly expansion project, totaling nearly $30 million from 2022 to 2027, to expand and improve spa facilities and create an innovative tourism offer for nature getaways and slow tourism enthusiasts.

Phase 1, with $5 million funding from the “Programme d’aide à la relance de l’industrie touristique” (PARIT) of the ministère du Tourisme, includes a 70-foot-wide hot tub, an underground theme lounge, heated terrace, additional changing rooms, new wastewater treatment facilities, and biomass heating. Plus, the Beatnik Hotel will be upgraded to a 3-star rating or equivalent. 🌿✨

An intensive organic microfarm and winter greenhouse will provide fresh produce for the LUMAMI restaurant year-round, offering guests a direct connection with regenerative agriculture and a holistic experience of well-being.
