One again there were a lot of people enjoying themselves out on the lake playing hockey on one rink or just pleasure skating on the other. Yes we put two in so everyone can enjoy themselves without running into each other.
One thing I haven’t mentioned before is John the owner of the Marina plowed out an ice trail from Palmer Palmer Park to the Public boat launch it might be 1 or 2 kilometers for those that just want to skate and sight see.
If you are one of the residents flying and landing your plane on the hard water please take a areal picture and send it to us
Maybe just maybe if there is enough interest we will make a longer and more spectacular ice trail next year.
