Time I’ll Never Regret... Now that my kids are older, I’ve learned that everything pales in comparison to our time together.
Once it’s gone I can never get it back.
Grabbing a few minutes before they head off to school, watching a silly video together, taking a road trip or hanging out in their bedroom late at night - whether it’s five hours or five minutes - I’ll take every moment I can get because time spent with my kids is time I’ll never regret.

Extreme Cold Warning still in Effect

Severity: Severe
Significant threat to life or property

Description
A long period of extremely cold temperatures and wind chills continues.

This morning, temperatures are ranging from minus 35 to minus 45 degrees Celsius, with wind chills between minus 45 and minus 55. Similar conditions are expected to return tonight, after some moderation in temperatures this afternoon. Wind chill values could even be a bit colder in open and exposed areas.

Patches of dense ice fog are occurring this morning, especially near communities, and could last until the afternoon. The fog is expected to develop again tonight.

Temperatures will begin to moderate on Monday, especially across southern Alberta. These warmer conditions will spread to most of the province by Tuesday afternoon.

Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

Risks are greater for young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses, people working or exercising outdoors, and those without proper shelter.

Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.

Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.
