Some of you know this already but now it's official: as of today, Rhodehouse Records is on indefinite hiatus. I will no longer be working with bands or releasing records until further notice. All remaining inventory of previous releases has been released to the bands; contact them directly for physical copies. It was fun while it lasted, buds! See you on the flipside!

Well folks, Less Miserable's 2018 is officially in the books! We had such a great year; we opened for Teenage Bottlerocket and Chixdiggit, we won the Ship & Anchor Pub songwriting contest, and we released our first music video (with accompanying 97 seconds of music!). Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of our journey so far, whether it's coming out to shows, listening to our music or checking us out online, we are so thankful for each and every one of you.

We have lots of really cool stuff lined up for the new year, but for now we'll leave you with our brand new line up! Introducing Mackenzie Meding (All Hands on Jane) on lead guitar, and Dan Wollach (Dead Pixel) on bass! We're super excited to bring these two musical talents on board, see y'all in 2019!

Jay Caption made me launch this early but I'm still trying to figure out a business model. The old way (and the XXY way) of just throwing a couple grand at a band and making a record and then getting your money back didn't work in 2006 and it still doesn't work now. So I'm looking outside that box. Kinda looking back to the beginning of the music industry for inspiration, in terms of singles. A low budget label like ourselves can play pretty comfortably in single territory. Bands: thoughts?
