In 2001 I started a Treaty Coproduction for National Geographic called the $100 Taxi Ride. I hired Joel Stewart from Calgary and it was one of the best decisions of my Producing life. Yesterday David Antoniuk and I attended a screening of the Harry Mavromichalis feature documentary Olympia. The film is a fly on the wall looking at the day to day routine of Olympia Dukakis. I was so sad today to hear about the death of a 5 year old in Ontario from measles. A completely preventable death if they were just vaccinated. The MMR vaccine is safe and effective please have your children vaccinated. It is science it works.

A number of years ago I directed 4 episodes of “War of the Wheels”. We had the most amazing host Andrew Comrie-Picard. Today he is part of an expedition driving vehicles around the globe. He is currently at the Northpole. He was live streaming their resupply helicopter arriving. You can see more of the adventure on his page.
