This little boy arrived to us in August as a young, stray kitten who went unclaimed. He was young and frail and had a terrible eye infection, but his medical concerns were no match for our compassionate animal care team! Meet Mouche! A 5-year-old old Flemish Giant! Mouche arrived in our care as a stray, in poor condition with significant fur loss and injuries to his neck and head. After receiving the necessary medical care and undergoing his neuter, he is now fully healed and ready to find his forever home!

Tuesday, December 10, 2024:

Due to continuing ice conditions on many streets and roads where buses travel, school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in all Tri-Board weather zones today.

This affects students with:

Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board
Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board
Limestone District School Board
Provincial and Demonstration Schools
Whitney Public School

Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.
