Our Story
The idea to have a tech and business media dedicated to our region has been around for quite a while. The European media landscape has lacked a sustainable coverage of the South Eastern European digital ecosystem. So the European audience and investors have been missing the chance to learn about exciting new companies and entrepreneurs.
Over the past five years for instance Bulgaria has given birth to over 300 startups, it is now leading the countries of SEE in terms of the number of fintech companies. Since 2015 the capital city Sofia appears in various respected publications such as Inc. and Forbes as one of the best places for startups in Europe. Numerous globally prominent tech brands also have their strategic R&D sites in Bulgaria.
So we decided to start here and expand regionally to finally give visibility to the new economical wave in SEE.
