Pangaea is the intercultural meeting centre of KU Leuven. Pangaea organises welcome activities and opportunities to meet for international and Belgian students and staff. In the intercultural meeting centre Belgian and international students and friends can interact, play games, read newspapers, drink some coffee/beer, meet new people, all in a stress-free atmosphere. Pangaea brings together more than 2000 people of over 100 nationalities every year.

1425 Laughs Leuven is back with their hilarious stand up show! Thursday 18 April, from 20:00 🎭

This show features:
Headliner: Austin Shale - a bilingual American and amazing performer spins hilarious stories about his life as a father and ex-pat.

Feature: James Elwa - a regular performer in the English and French comedy scene. He adds his unique perspective as a Moroccan and child of bilingual parents to stories that delight audiences.

With the Connected Cafés, we want to honor professor Kimberlé Crenshaw (61) who received her honorary doctorate by KU Leuven on 3 February 2020. 🎉 She conducted groundbreaking theoretical work on equality and discrimination. She developed the notion ‘intersectionality’, which describes the dynamic of discrimination resulting from a combination of vulnerabilities, such as race, socio-economic status and gender.
