Recently, my stepmother showed interest in my mom's necklace and asked to borrow it for her wedding. I refused, but she kept pushing until I had to hide it.

I didn't attend the wedding because my stepmother secretly disinvited me, and my father didn't say anything. On their wedding day, when I went to change the hiding place for the necklace, I found it was gone.

I called my stepmom, and she said she took it and would return it after the honeymoon, but I demanded it back immediately. She refused, saying she couldn't leave the guests and forbade me from coming to retrieve it, accusing me of wanting to make a scene.

ENTITLED LANDLORD RAISED OUR RENT BY $650 — WE HAD ENOUGH AND TAUGHT HIM A COSTLY LESSON.
My wife and I both bust our butts working full-time. We rented a cheap place to save up for a house.
When we met the landlord, Mr. Williams, he gave us the lease. I, not thinking, wrote my income as $100k. He saw it, got all huffy, but faked a smile and said nothing.
Then the nightmare started. The place was a dump — fridge, washer, faucets, toilet — everything kept breaking down. He blamed us and refused to fix anything. In addition, he would also come to "check the apartment" unannounced whenever he felt like it, scaring my wife when she was home without me. This went on for a year.
When our lease was up, we needed to stay two more months before moving into our own house. Short-term rentals were pricey, so we asked to extend. The landlord agreed but JACKED UP THE RENT BY $650 A MONTH. We had no choice.
But when he TOOK OUR ENTIRE DEPOSIT, claiming we trashed the place (even though we cleaned it up), we snapped. We came up with a KILLER PLAN to get our money back and teach that jealous landlord a lesson. We headed out to...⬇️

I was on a flight to a work conference, feeling good about snagging an aisle seat. The window seat was taken by this guy, probably in his 40s, all suited up and acting like he owned the place.
About halfway through, the flight attendants started serving dinner. I hadn't eaten all day, so I was really looking forward to it. But just as the food was coming, I had to run to the restroom. My wife and I were invited to my friend's wedding. It was a pretty intimate gathering, with about 70 people, mostly family.

After the ceremony, the food came out, and it looked amazing. It was a buffet setup. They were calling tables up a few at a time to get their food, starting with the family of both sides. That made sense. But by the time our table was called, there was nothing left. I asked if more food was coming out, but apparently, that ship had already sailed.
