Aftab is the literary magazine of the Islamic Center at New York University. This seasonal publication is meant to serve as a literary and artistic outlet for members of the community to express their thoughts and ideas as well as communicate on the topic of Islam and the broad range of issues facing the Muslim community. We showcase poetry, prose, short stories, creative writing, essays, artwork,

illustrations, photography, etc. Please send all written and photography submissions electronically to [email protected]. Artwork can be hand delivered. Anonymous submissions will be accepted and will be kept in confidence.
