MY PRESEUMPTUOUS SIL COPIES MY HAIR, HOBBIES, AND CLOTHES – I DECIDED TO WRAP HER AROUND MY FINGER AT A FRIEND'S WEDDING.

My SIL is my husband's ex... and now she's married to his brother. I know, I know... that's crazy, but it is what it is.

This is not the point. The issue is that ever since I was introduced to her, I noticed that she began copying me. I start doing yoga, she starts too. I buy a red strapless dress, she buys one too. I go to the opera, she goes to the opera. And it all would have been okay if I hadn't overheard her talking to her friend.

"I'm tired of HER copying ME. She knows that Jack loved me, so she tries to be the same."

Oh really? So now it's ME copying her. I needed to stop this but decided to do it smartly.

We were invited to our friend's wedding. But the day before, I did something.

So, yesterday, we arrived at the wedding, and when she finally saw me, she DROPPED her glass of champagne and yelled, "What... how...WHAT HAVE YOU ⬇️

MAN OFFERED TO HELP ME WITH MY BABY ON A PLANE — I WAS SO GRATEFUL, UNTIL I SAW WHAT HE DID TO MY SON

I was on a flight from New York to Los Angeles with my 14-month-old baby. As any parent knows, traveling with an infant can be incredibly stressful, and this flight was no exception. My baby was fussy and crying, and I could feel the judgmental stares from other passengers.

About an hour into the flight, a kind-looking man sitting across the aisle offered to help. He smiled warmly and said:

"Would you like me to hold your baby for a while? I have a daughter around the same age, and I know how tough it can be."

Desperate for a break, I reluctantly agreed. He seemed genuine, and I was exhausted. He took my baby and started rocking her gently. I turned around to get my laptop and some snacks from the backpack, and this was when the crying suddenly stopped. I turned back and was frightened to see ⬇️

I went to vacation to relax, and while checking in at the hotel, I saw my daughter and son-in-law – who supposedly died in a car crash five years ago. My heart nearly stopped. After my husband died, I was lost. It was terrible: the world suddenly became so lonely...

But then a miracle happened, and Bart appeared. Handsome, loving, kind — suddenly my heart seemed to come alive again! He made me feel like the most loved and desired person in the world!

MY SON CAME HOME WITH A "GIFT" FROM OUR NEIGHBOR — WHEN I SAW WHAT WAS IN THE BOX, I DECIDED TO MOVE OUT.

Last Friday, my 10-year-old son, Jake, came home from playing outside with a grin plastered on his face. He was holding a small wooden box, carefully cradling it like it was the most precious thing in the world.

"Mr. Carson gave me a present, Mom!" he said, his eyes wide with excitement. I immediately felt a bit uneasy. Mr. Carson had never shown any particular interest in Jake before, so this sudden gesture felt strange. But Jake's enthusiasm was contagious, so I smiled and told him to show me what was inside.

MY MOTHER-IN-LAW BOUGHT ME A MATTRESS — I WAS TERRIFIED WHEN I LEARNED HER TRUE INTENTION.

My mother-in-law bought me the best mattress. I had never slept on such a comfortable mattress; this was beyond anything I had ever seen.

A month later, I got pregnant. I'm not even fertile, so it was a miracle for us. We slept with the baby on the mattress, but one day, the baby urinated on it, so I decided to remove the cover and clean it.

After my husband helped me remove the cover, he turned RED. He suddenly took the mattress outside, grabbed gasoline from the garage, and set it on fire.

This family, the Johnsons, recently moved into our neighborhood, right next door. I was immediately cautious, but my kind-hearted wife thought they were good people and even welcomed them with casseroles. Things seemed fine—our kids got along well, and I thought I might've judged too quickly. Then came the barbecue day.

I came to her house and... Lord, it looked like a total nightmare... The downstairs carpets were in a state, much of the furniture was useless, and the walls were sagging in places. It broke my heart.
