JD(U) District President Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Visit Zalpora Nowgam to Promote Youth Engagement in Sports

Bandipora:- In a significant outreach effort, Janata Dal United (JD(U)) District President Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, along with State Organizer Abdul Majeed Dar and other party leaders, visited Zalpora Nowgam village in the Sumbal area of North Kashmir's Bandipora district. The visit, which took place earlier this week, aimed to engage with the local youth and address pressing community concerns.

During the visit, Bhat interacted with local cricket players, emphasizing the critical role that sports can play in keeping the youth away from negative influences, particularly the rising menace of drug abuse. "Our main focus is to steer our youth away from drugs and engage them in sports activities," Bhat stated, highlighting the importance of sports in fostering discipline and promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people.

Bhat reassured the young athletes that their genuine demands would be met with urgency. "We are committed to resolving all your legitimate demands on a priority basis," he said, reaffirming his dedication to addressing the needs and concerns of the local community.

This visit is part of JD(U)'s broader strategy to strengthen its grassroots presence and engage more effectively with the youth across Bandipora. *JD(U) Leader Vivek Bali Responds to Mehbooba M***i's Statement on DGP, Expresses Support for Police

Srinagar:- Janata Dal (United) State General Secretary Vivek Bali reacted to remarks made by PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba M***i. M***i's comments followed accusations by Jammu and Kashmir police chief R R Swain, who claimed that political parties in the Union Territory were nurturing terror leaders for electoral gains. In response, M***i demanded Swain's dismissal, citing rising terrorist attacks.

JD(U) state general secretary Vivek Bali issued a statement to media, criticizing M***i's statements. "It seems that Mehbooba M***i is trying to criminalize the situation for her political purposes," Bali said. He affirmed the police's effectiveness, stating, "The police are doing their jobs well and have protected us. PDP's links with separatists are known."

Bali emphasized JD(U)'s support for the security forces, highlighting their strict stance on militancy. "Our security forces will respond appropriately. Their zero tolerance for militancy is commendable, and the number of local militants is significantly lower compared to earlier times," he added.

سری نگر، جموں و کشمیر — ڈیموکریٹک پروگریسو آزاد پارٹی (DPAP) سے استعفیٰ دینے کے حوالے سے حالیہ افواہوں کے جواب میں، تاج محی الدین نے ان دعووں کی واضح طور پر تردید کی ہے، اور انہیں گمراہ کن خبریں پھیلانے والے ایک بدنیتی پر مبنی جعلی پورٹل سے منسوب کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ یہ افواہیں کانگریس کی جانب سے اپنی حالیہ انتخابی شکست اور پارٹی کے اندر جاری اندرونی بحرانوں سے عوام کی توجہ ہٹانے کی ایک بے بنیاد کوشش ہے۔

تاج محی الدین نے ڈی پی اے پی اور اس کے مقاصد کے تئیں اپنی لگن کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پارٹی متحد ہے اور جموں و کشمیر کے لوگوں کو درپیش حقیقی مسائل کو حل کرنے پر توجہ مرکوز رکھے ہوئے ہے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ "ہم یہاں لوگوں کی خدمت کرنے اور ان کی خوشحالی کے لیے کام کرنے کے لیے موجود ہیں۔ اس طرح کے مکروہ حربوں سے ہماری پارٹی کو غیر مستحکم کرنے کی کوئی بھی کوشش کامیاب نہیں ہو گی۔"

DPAP خطے کے سماجی و اقتصادی حالات کو بہتر بنانے اور اپنے شہریوں کے حقوق اور بہبود کی وکالت کرنے کے اپنے مشن کے لیے مضبوط اور پرعزم ہے۔
