JD(U) District President Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Visit Zalpora Nowgam to Promote Youth Engagement in Sports
Bandipora:- In a significant outreach effort, Janata Dal United (JD(U)) District President Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, along with State Organizer Abdul Majeed Dar and other party leaders, visited Zalpora Nowgam village in the Sumbal area of North Kashmir's Bandipora district. The visit, which took place earlier this week, aimed to engage with the local youth and address pressing community concerns.
During the visit, Bhat interacted with local cricket players, emphasizing the critical role that sports can play in keeping the youth away from negative influences, particularly the rising menace of drug abuse. "Our main focus is to steer our youth away from drugs and engage them in sports activities," Bhat stated, highlighting the importance of sports in fostering discipline and promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people.
Bhat reassured the young athletes that their genuine demands would be met with urgency. "We are committed to resolving all your legitimate demands on a priority basis," he said, reaffirming his dedication to addressing the needs and concerns of the local community.
This visit is part of JD(U)'s broader strategy to strengthen its grassroots presence and engage more effectively with the youth across Bandipora. Zahoor Ahmad Bhat's emphasis on sports as a tool for youth development aligns with the party's vision of promoting a positive, drug-free environment in the region. The leaders' interaction with the local players underscores JD(U)'s ongoing commitment to fostering a healthier and more constructive future for the youth in Kashmir.
