On The Bubble today we are celebrating the freedom of Julian Assange, and also his 53rd birthday which is on 3rd July.
I never thought I’d see the day of his release and was a weeping mess when I heard it on the news. I can only imagine how emotional his wife Stella, and he himself must have been. I wish them all the very best in becoming a family, and Julian getting healthy and happy.
We’ll hear a news story from The Wire about Julian Assange’s plea deal, and all the tunes today are selected with Julian in mind.
