Nitelite on Tribe FM 91.1

There will be no Nitelite program in January... instead an Expression of Interest form is in prep, and will be available for DJs who want to play sets during 2020. We'll book up the year as we go, and if there's sufficient demand and we can attract a co-host or two, Nitelite may become fortnightly, or even weekly in the future.

Orright! Thanks for a dynamite session on Saturday night with Donald Pump!

So who's keen on playing the next Nitelite on Tribe FM 91.1 session?

Timing is 10pm-12am Friday, and the schedule is wide open.

We're also looking for a co-host to share the on air responsibilities, so DJ Sepia won't have to be there for every session. Once we have a co-host, we can go weekly.

To become a co-host, you'll need to become a station member at Tribe FM 91.1 (there's a small annual fee to pay of $25 or so) and do the free on-air training (which should take 3-4 sessions if you're already a DJ). A cohost will need to be prepared to travel to Willunga for shows and training.

NITELITE: a fresh new showcase for underground sounds and homegrown South Australian DJ talent on Tribe FM 91.1 (and streaming online)

Nitelite is a new program concept we're piloting at community radio station Tribe FM 91.1. For our first pilot, Wyx will be playing an uninterrupted set of house and techno, introduced by Tribe FM regular, DJ Sepia.

If the show is well received (hit us up with comments and messages), we will be looking at building up a roster of guest DJs, training a regular host (training is free and occurs in Willunga) and making this a feature of our regular Friday night programming.
