Directed by Jon-Claire Lee, the Short Film THE SECRET SHAKESPEAREAN SOCIETY is selected for official screening at the Nawada International Film Festival 2024 (India) and at the Asian Talent International Film Fesival 2024 (India) in consideration as BEST COVID-19 FILM. Story centers on a group of thespians plotting to kill the Bard on his birthday in 1616.

Congratulations to STC's Gandhi MacIntyre featuring in Counting & Cracking, a hit play now in New York City at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (2-22 Sept) . A co-production by Belvoir and playwright S Shakthidharan’s company Co-Curious for Sydney Festival, it tells the story of several generations of families in both Colombo and Sydney, in the 1970s and in the 21st century.

STC Class Presentation 2023 Highlights

Congratulations to all our STC students who performed in our 2023 End-of-Year Class Presentation on 2 Dec at the Ermington Centre Hall. Wonderful peformances by all led by our teachers Sylvana De Filippis and Agustin Lamas. Here are some of the highlights.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐒𝐓𝐂 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 After 40 wonderful years of teaching hundreds of students, we have made the hard decision to bring our drama classes to a close. We are so thankful to everyone who have ever supported our drama classes and are proud to have witnessed so many students thrive under the guidance of our wonderful teachers. We hope our drama classes have given you a great space to grow and be part of the acting community. Don’t worry, we will continue to proudly run our Sydney Talent Company agency for years to come.
