Central Coast Radio broadcasts digitally. FM transmission masts are on the way out and already there is virtually no FM in Italy, France and Germany and none in Scandinavia. They have all closed down. The

problem with FM is it only goes out in a certain sized footprint whereas with Central Coast Radio you can get it in Mt Killimanjaro, you can get it in Wagga, you can get it in Perth, you can get it ALL OVER THE WORLD you can’t do that with just an FM signal. Broadcasting digitally has the potential to provide an improved listening experience.

FM is yesterday’s technology. If anybody wants to pick up Central Coast Radio they can pick it up anywhere local, Sydney, Newcastle as well as Qld, Perth, Tasmania wherever they happen to be in the world. Central Coast Radio can easily be got on Blue Tooth and for those who think they can’t get it in their car all they need do is get it on their phone and cast it to their device or for a small fee, we can send you a little thing that you can plug into your cigarette lighter and your ready to go.
