Looks like Johnno was right.

The Peep Show returned to the airwaves this week with a random appearance on 2GB to discuss Penrith Beach. And with the media cycle clearly gagging for content, that interview ended up being the basis for an entire article on Daily Mail.

While we're happy the comments weren't taken out of context, it's worth noting that Dave didn't randomly call the station to talk about it - they saw from social media that we'd gone down and approached us for the interview.

Anyway, here it is. Expect Dave to be hitting the conservative talking points with his own talkback show in a couple of months.

Also FWIW - Pondi is a s**t name.

Penrith Beach - dubbed 'Pondi' - opened on Tuesday morning as Western Sydney sweltered through a hot and humid 34C summer day. But some visitors were unimpressed.

PEEP SHOW INDEFINITELY SUSPENDED

You might have noticed we didn't go to air tonight - and there's a reason for that.

Finally, after years, the station has reportedly received a complaint over something political Dave said on air. While the exact quote could not be presented, apparently it had something to do with Peter Dutton.

That's right. After 12 months of actively campaigning against Scott Morrison on the exact same station without a word of complaint, some off-hand comment about how unelectable the human potato is has resulted in a text to the station... two weeks after it happened.

We were told we'd have to face a tribunal. We decided to save everyone's time. Whatever it was Dave said, we stand by it.
