We’re committed to sharing the uniquely wonderful ways that young people express how they think and feel about the world through art and fiction. Just a quick reminder that callouts close on Sunday October 4 so you’ve only got one week left to submit! We’re already so impressed by what we’ve seen so far and can’t wait to see the original and wonderful content that’ll come through next!

Our first round of submissions is themed “Art in Isolation”. Head to our events page for more info and to contribute any visual art, creative writing, or pieces of music that you’d like to. We accept submissions through the google form listed on the Facebook event.

We are more than proud to announce the launch of Addict! A new online arts journal which will feature a broad range of creative material produced by students at the University of Sydney. Addict will be running callouts and accepting submissions by USYD students for fiction, art, music and much more!

Our first edition is themed – “Art in Isolation” – and aims to share the many ways in which people have been affected by a global pandemic by platforming the art which has been produced during that time.

Our team consists of several student representatives for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences who aim to create a platform for young people to represent and explore themselves through writing and artistic production.
