We're currently seeking authors to feature in the newsletter for the months of August-December. If you have a book coming out later in the year, please get in touch ASAP to reserve your Author Feature spot by emailing [email protected].

Our relaunched newsletter, GREENLEAF GLOW, is seeking content. We're looking for children's authors who would like to be featured in the newsletter that goes out monthly. Our preference is for commercially published authors of chapter books, junior fiction, middle grade, and young adult fiction.

Loads of fun things are planned for the page. I created it to raise the profile and awareness of Australian picture books, their creators, their themes and purpose, and their importance in shaping young lives.

On Little Darlings we welcome discussions about anything and everything relating to picture books as well as recommendations of picture books you’ve loved reading. We will also be sharing reviews, interviews, news, event information, and author and illustrator features.

Wendy has a reputation for writing novels that feature brave, determined and capable young female protagonists; in this book she draws on personal experience to explore disability, in particular: ‘the shock of realising that other people don’t see us in the same way as before, and the road to accepting ourselves and finding a new path when life changes.’

NSW Premier's Literary Awards closing for entries soon! The 2022 NSW Premier's Literary Awards is closing for entries on Tuesday 5 October 2021. The Awards honour distinguished achievement by Australian writers across all genres, and in 2022 are offering a prize pool of $295,000 across 10 categories. They are open to works published between 1 October 2020 and 30 September 2021 with the exception of the Indigenous Writers' Prize.
