In this three part workshop, veteran Australian screen writer, director and producer Bill Hughes will teach the fundamentals of taking an idea through to a finished film.

This course is aimed at those wanting to break into the industry and will teach vital knowledge of how a writer/director can move through the process of taking their idea and working it through to a finished product.

Each module will consist of both theoretical and practical elements giving attendees the opportunity to not only learn from one the most experienced directors in Australia, but also get hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Always an absolute pleasure working with the amazing Bill Hughes. One of Australia's most experienced film and television writer, producer and director.

Last week we got Bill in front of the camera to film a promotional video for his up coming workshop "Script to Screen" that will be hosted by Pluggas Studio

The 3 day practical course will teach aspiring filmmakers how to take an idea and develop it though to a finished film.

Included in the course:

Developing an idea and writing it into a treatment.

Fundamentals of storytelling and screenwriting.

Communicating your vision and preparing for shooting.

Working with actors to get the performances that you envision.
