Calling Sunny Coast screenwriters! Pluggas Studio would love to bring together 4-6 local Sunshine Coast writers for a writers room.

We'll be working on our next fun 3-5 minute-ish short film to shoot during the June school holidays.

Your commitment: 1 night a week for 2-3 weeks, Tuesday 6.30-8.30pm starting 28th May.

You'll be working alongside produced writers and Sunny Coast Showdown winners. Open to positive keen collaborators.

New Workshop Announcement!

Pluggas Studio will be hosting a Film In A Day workshop for high school students on the 20 of September.

This intensive practical film-making workshop introduces production elements such as story structure, cinematography, directing, acting and more, placing students in creative film-making roles. At the conclusion attendees wil have contributed to a finished short film created in one day.

UPDATE: Bill Hughes Script to screen!

After to speaking to the community we have made some changes. Bill will now host this workshop as a single day event and focus mainly on Directing on set. The course will still be practical in the studio and follow the same structure as module 2 of the original workshop how ever we have reworked it to a more affordably price.

The intensive workshop will take place on the 9th of September.
