We interviewed Surprise Chef ahead of their show in Noosa! We are very honoured to host this show and excited to share with you such special night.

Surprise Chef crafts mood-evoking music, blending vivid arrangements with influences from 70s film scores, jazz funk, and hip-hop samples. The majority of the band lives together in a Melbourne sharehouse, which informs their process. We caught up with band member Lachlan Stuckey to get a better idea of how exactly their magical sounds are created, and what we can look forward to at their show with Pachyman on 8 December.

This week we’re celebrating the incredible Artists Battle Vol. 2 that was, and the winner of the showdown! We hosted 9 talented artists and our wonderful local community at Sun City in Noosaville. After 2.5 hours of creation and participant voting for their favourite work, the winner emerged – Angi Dlapiu of

Producing a work resembling a too-young person smoking a cigarette, Angi explored ideas of no limits and her youth experiences within the theme of ‘temptation’. We’re so stoked to be able to award Angi with $500 to support her to build her brilliant practice.

A huge thank you to our host and curator for this event and of course the amazing artists who put themselves out there and created true magic.

Exciting news! We’ve join forces with again, this time to bring you to Noosa.

Hailing from just outside Melbourne, their first two albums, All News Is Good News and Daylight Savings (released in 2020) precipitated a cult-like fervour around the band. They were championed by DJs and tastemakers who spread Surprise Chef’s music from their home studio to audiences in every corner of the globe. The band were considered such a revelation amongst aficionados of funk and soul that in 2022 they were signed to Big Crown Records, a Brooklyn-based label who are considered to be on the cutting edge of the genre.

is joining us too to open this amazing night and we were told we will be amazed by his uniqueness talent. We can’t wait to see!!!

We also want to acknowledge these hard times that too many people around the globe are facing rn and share our feelings to who’s also not having an easy time on Gubbi Gubbi land and all Australia atm, we are here with you, hopping injustice will soon stop and all humans find peace and same privileges we are lucky to have. We are here sharing what we think is right for the world, art, music and a safe space to express ourselves. We stand with you and create this platform to cultivate what for us is the remedy to such dark times.

As you might already know, MORPH because every event is different. With a format of a small festival, we curate a variety of multidisciplinary artists, bringing something different each time to our awesome community here in Noosa.

What’s on this time:

BRIGHTSIDE ART EXHIBITION BY

Stupid Krap is an online gallery that releases original and limited edition artworks, prints and all types of artist's design products, by some of the world's most exciting and collectable contemporary artists.
We couldn’t be more excited and proud to present this level of talent to our audience and friends.
In this occasion 40 artists from around the globe will send their work to exhibit here in Noosa with us.

SHLTR TV: Interview and panel discussion guided by with the founder of and local artist

KARAKA ORCHESTRA: Live percussion and melodic experience conducted by with special guests.

DJ SET: has a mixture of rhythms, we would describe it as techno by a latino. You can feel the drops, the highs and damn he know how to make us party! This time we are pushing him for something new and he will be experimenting a bit with .orchestra live!

Can’t wait to share this one with you all :)

We always need hands helping, so if you are keen to volunteer and help us set up, pack up or being at the door for a few hours DM us for more info.

and opened this studio located in Peregian Beach with the goal of providing space for critical conversations, exhibitions and gatherings. They both focus on reductive and abstract art and prioritise artists who follow this same path.

We were lucky to covered last years experience so here we wanted to share a bit of their journey.
