Great day recording Myles, Matt and Will with Brett at Sodypop Studio. Old school play and sing live through analogue gear to ProTools. No headphones just a foldback wedge for vocals. No click track. Capture the vibe. Bass and guitar amps vocals and drums in the same room. Embrace spill. Super efficient. Six songs multiple takes. Lead guitar and backing vocals to overdub. Should be ready to mix after 2 days recording. Stay tuned.

It was a great weekend recording Brett's band The Love Mussels' forthcoming album The Love Mussels Save The World in Brett's studio Sodypop Studios. There was great playing from Liv Bafile, Denis Surmon, Kym Winter-Dewhirst and Brett Sody and great arrangements that were workshopped as we were recording. We got a fantastic trademark Sodypop drum sound out of Liv's kit - a testament to the studio and the gear....
