One of Australia's most beloved actors Chris Hemsworth has been honoured with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame 👏 🎬

The ‘Thor’ actor became the 2,781st recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been recognised in the category of Motion Pictures.

Chris Hemsworth was joined by his wife Elsa Pataky, children and parents at the ceremony.

Fellow Marvel Universe star Robert Downey Jr. and Filmmaker George Miller were also in attendance and gave touching tributes to the former 'Home and Away’ actor.

Speaking of the honour, Hemsworth thanked the many people involved in hisjourney saying: "To be here in reality, I feel a wonderful, profound sense of gratitude."
