The Agriculture Minister Ros Spence says the Victorian Government accepts primary producers are "doing it exceptionally hard" at the moment, and has flagged further assistance for farmers is incoming.

Minister Spence told Ali Moore she is "advocating for farmers' views to be taken on board" but the decision on whether to extend the pause on the Emergency Services and Volunteers Fund, as well as further financial support, ultimately sits with the Treasurer Jaclyn Symes.
