At around 10 pm Emergency services responded to a traffic crash on the #Gold Coast.
A elderly female driver has been taken to hospital in the stable condition after being hit by an alleged drunk driver that drove down the wrong side of the road on the Gold Coast highway surfers Paradise.
The female driver allegedly took off on foot and was apprehended not far from the crash by police and taken in the custody.

Emergency Services responded to a RTC LOGAN.
At around 9:3pm QAS and Fire & Rescue responded to a 3-vehicle crash on School Rd and Logan Reserve Rd interaction.
3 people were assessed by QAS and 2 were taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Assault charges, #Coomera
Police have charged three people in relation to an alleged assault that occurred in Coomera last night, June 28.
It will be alleged around 11pm, a white MG and a blue Mazda pulled over along Steves Way and an altercation occurred following a road rage incident.
A 28-year-old Nerang from the white MG sustained non-life-threatening facial injuries and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The three other occupants of that vehicle sustained minor injuries but were not transported to hospital.
The Mazda left the scene prior to police arrival.
Police conducted patrols of the area before locating the vehicle parked on O’Reilly Drive around 11.30pm.
A 20-year-old Biggera Waters man, a 21-year-old Marsden man and a 36-year-old Marsden man were taken into custody at the scene.
They have each been charged with one count of wounding and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and are due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on July 11.
Investigations are continuing.

Police are appealing to the public for information after a suspicious fire in Darra this morning, June 26.Emergency services were called to a Kokoda Street residence about 2am following reports of a fire.The fire is believed to have started in a mini bus, parked on the property which has then spread to another vehicle and the house.No one was on the property at the time of the incident.

At around 6:30pm, Emergency Services responded to a house on fire in #BARDON.
Upon arrival, fire crews found the home well involved in heavy fire it took crews 40 minutes to contain the blaze with five crews attending the scene on Rosalie Street.
The fire at this stage is being treated as non-suspicious where an old QLD home has suffered serious damage, Emergency Services remain on the scene, dampening hotspots.
No injuries have been reported everyone was accounted for.

Police take a woman into custody after crash #Clayfield.
Emergency Services were called to Junction Road at around 11:30pm The female driver had lost control and collided with a parked car, the force in the impact caused the vehicle to roll and catch fire.
Investigations are underway to determine if she was under the influence at the time of the crash.

Firefighters were called to a 2nd alarm shop fire at Jaycar in #Woolloongabba around 10pm last night.
It took several fire crews to extinguish the blaze with lots of smoke showing from the building, fire was contained very quickly.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but the fire may of been caused by some electrical equipment inside.

Emergency Services have responded to a house on fire in Brisbane.
Fire crews were called to a home with smoke showing on Whitford Street #TINGALPA.
Upon arrival, fire crews found the front of the QLD home well involved with heavy fire showing and went to 2nd alarm.
Fire crews were able to knock the fire down very quickly and stop it from spreading any further throughout the home with 7 crews on the scene.
No one was injured by the fire the homeowner is away overseas
and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Firearms charges, #Birkdale
Police have charged a 31-year-old man after a motorbike he was riding allegedly struck a police vehicle at Birkdale last night, March 29.
It is alleged that around 11:30 p.m., officers in an unmarked police vehicle spotted two motorcyclists riding dangerously on Old Cleveland Road.
Upon seeing the two motorbikes enter a Birkdale car park, officers attempted to approach one of them in their vehicle.
Upon approaching the motorbike, the rider allegedly attempted to evade officers and, as a result, struck the police vehicle before trying to flee the area on foot.
Officers were able to take the man into custody immediately after.
It will be further alleged during a search of the man; officers further located a firearm and ammunition.
The 31-year-old Capalaba man has been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of Category H weapon (shortened double barrel shotgun), possession of a shortened firearm (shortened double barrel shotgun), authority required to possess explosives (ammunition), obstructing a police officer, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving without a driver’s licence, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
He is due to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

Police are looking for the people responsible after a stolen 4WD slammed into a telegraph pole splitting it in half and knocking some power to some homes on Butler Street and Stanbridge Eagleby.
The suspects were able to get away from police into nearby parklands the 4wd taken away for further investigations.
