It’s a privilege to be asked to work on someone’s music.
This was a great EP to be involved in. Very emotive performances that needed to be captured live and had to be unedited continuous takes. Prudns nailed it.

Our team of expert, independent judges remain busy - listening to around 225 (and rising daily) eligible Aussie 2023 albums - this morning they've nominated 'Acid Ocean' by Moody Beaches as one of the best they're heard - it's in the running now for 'album of the year'. One AMP judge commented "Fresh and vibrant post-punk with real substance."

Getting mixes to translate from a smaller 7.1 room to a theatre with over 30 speakers has been working surprisingly well.
The most recent Atmos film score mix I’ve completed with more music genres than I can count has been a wild!

This week's PBS Feature Album is 'Acid Ocean' by Moody Beaches, a potent 10-track serve of harmony-driven and brooding, fuzzed-out anthems, with cutting lyrical themes touching on social and economic injustices, invisibility as we age, and the numbing from modern life.
Emerging from Melbourne’s punk-rock underbelly in 2017, Moody Beaches have since cemented themselves as a must-watch live act and staple of the Australian indie punk scene. Ahead of its official release on Friday 21 April via Poison City Records / Beast Records (France), the trio have unveiled three singles from their forthcoming record.

A few fun toys in the chain. The Bullet is sent to a ABY guitar splitter, then fed through some yummy guitar pedals, and also the straight bullet, then sent into the DI inputs of the preamps. Very fun blending to taste with the 414
